Boone v. Amoco Oil Company, No. 80-74327 1015 ATRR E-3 (E.D. Mich. 3-10-81) Consent Judgment

Following timely notice of termination for violation of this section for fraud or criminal conduct of manipulating pump meters and submission of inaccurate reports under the meter marketing plan, a consent judgment was entered that: (1) provided for the termination of the existing franchise agreement one year later; (2) prohibited franchisees from tampering with meters or submitting false reports; (3) provided for the payment of damages by franchisees and (4) provided for the immediate termination of the franchise relationship upon breach of the consent agreement and the filing and hearing of a show cause order.
