  • Amadeo v. Mobil Oil Caribe, Inc., 642 F. Supp. 962 (D.P.R. 8-27-86)

    Franchisor complied with this section when it tendered a formal lease referring to the existence of an underlying lease to replace the existing trial franchise. Franchisee had actual knowledge of the required information and, despite a lack of written notice to franchisee telling him the underlying lease was about to expire, the court refused to elevate form over substance to find a violation of the PMPA.
