Denial of preliminary injunction to franchisee affirmed. District court had ordered maintenance of status quo because franchisee had perfected appeal of the denial of injunctive relief. First Circuit found because franchisee had not shown a sufficient likelihood of success to warrant injunctive relief pending appeal, his motion for a stay/injunction was denied. Issues pertaining to nonrenewal were not placed in issue by franchisee's motion for a preliminary injunction.
