Kentucky UST Law

Kentucky law governing USTs can be broken into three "regulatory" groups: (1) the Kentucky State Fire Marshal; (2) the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet (Cabinet), Department for Environmental Protection, Division of Waste Management, Underground Storage Tank Branch (UST Branch); and (3) the Office of Petroleum Storage Tank Environmental Assurance Fund (OPSTEAF). Each of these groups maintains regulations which govern USTs.

This site contains links to the current UST statutes and regulations for Kentucky as maintained by the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission at its website.
